This culinary experience of the special kind still takes place on the castle hotel Falkenfels. We serve the following without silverware, therefore with a lot of fantasy:

  • a hearty welcome punch or honey mead
  • original bavarian bread soup with onions
  • ausgebackenes geräuchertes Wammerl mit Brot
  • fresh, crackling salads
  • crispy pig's knuckle
  • fresh grilled turkey leg
  • Falkenfels knight's drink
  • house made noodles with vanilla sauce

Public knight's meal in the year 2009: 
Singles, smaller and larger groups can participate in a public knight's meal. Besides the welcome punch or the honey mead, no other drinks are included in the vacation package of the public knight's meal. The program takes place with a minimum amount of 6 people.
An own knight's meal will gladly be arranged for big groups (please see further below).

  • Available: New Year's Eve, Donnerstag, December 31, 2009, 8 p.m.
     New Year's Eve party with knight's meal, in the castle hotel Falkenfels with a minimum overnight stay of 4 nights, or a stay in hotels and pensions around the castle Falkenfels minimum 2 overnight stays.
  • Participation of a knight's meal without an overnight stay 65 EUR (only possible with advance notice)

We'll gladly organize a knight's meal for your business trips, your family celebrations or your Christmas celebration

We offer enough room for small or large round table: 

  • historical brick arch castle dungeon (up to 40 people)
  • or in the romantic knight's hall / hunting room (according to table arrangement 25 to 50 people)
  • or in the festival hall "Zur Tranke" (35 m x 12 m + stage. With occupancy of about 150 people, there's a dancing floor of about 8 m x 25 m big. Up to 350 guests possible - but then without a dancing floor.)
  • price per knight or castle miss: 44 EUR (without live music, dance and entertainment)
  • knight's meal with overnight stay and white sausage breakfast per knight or castle miss: 145 DM (without live music, dance and entertainment)
  • upon request we'll take care of (bavarian or medieval) live music, dance and entertainment.
    From sole entertainer to professional theater group. Price upon request, for example 4 hours about 300 DM to about 1400 DM.

Please understand, that during these events, there is no throwing with food, glasses, etc.
